Here you will find important news about Malford Court
The yellow lines around Malford Court have been re-painted for the avoidance of doubt, where no parking is allowed and will be enforced. With parking near corners frowned upon, the hope and plan is now to help protect the soft verges from unsightly vehicle damage. A reminder letter was circulated to all, that parking in front of the garages and near the courtyard garden entrance is also strictly prohibited, plus a prohibition on e-scooters being kept in flats (and communal areas), as their batteries can be a serious fire risk. New signs stress the No Parking outside the garages; and new signs at all entrances that No Delivery Vehicles are allowed inside. Remember also that NO DOGS are allowed in the courtyard garden area at all, not just on the grass.
Please be considerate with rubbish disposal; and never leave bags contaminated with foodstuff on the floor where foxes, rats and other vermin are attracted. Flatten your recyclable boxes too please. And remember that large items can be disposed of only by prior collection arrangement with Redbridge Council: otherwise this is fly-tipping and an offence.
In the Neighbourhood Watch Page, you will find the latest Autumn/Winter edition of the Newsletter, together with the Met Police 2023 Annual Report on Vehicle Crime and Vehicle Theft. The Redbridge Police Operation Moberly August 2024 report shows positive reductions in vehicle thefts and thefts from vehicles. Other Police advice and materials can be found in the Members section.

Thanks to leaseholders who attended the Annual General meeting on 8 August. If you are a leaseholder and would like a copy of the Minutes, please contact us.
We have a new site manager in Tanisha and we are working with her to progress a range of matters.
In general matters, whether you're a leaseholder or renting, we all have a part to play in keeping Malford Court a nice place to live, so some gentle reminders.
No resident is permitted to leave any personal items in the hall, or any communal area. Any such items may be removed.
Parking
Did you know nobody has the right to park at Malford Court? It's been allowed historically, but multiple complaints over inconsiderate parking put this at risk for everyone. Please park considerately and never park on the grass, or in front of gates/bollards that are there to ensure the Emergency Services can gain access when needed.
No parking on yellow lines please; and do not drive over kerbs and the flower beds, causing such unsightly damage. If you are unable to park in the block, annual street parking permits cost just £22.50 from Redbridge Council. It's free to park outside evenings and weekends.
Gardens
Our gardens and grounds (a work in progress but looking good, thanks to our new gardeners) are there for residents of all ages to enjoy. Chairs/garden furniture belong to MCLA for all to enjoy and must not be removed. Benches should not be left on the grass. Please remember that the following are not permitted: parties, unsupervised ball games, pets on the grass, and storing/leaving any personal items. This includes bikes, BBQs and children's toys. Any items left there may be disposed of. BBQs are allowed on the hard surface areas but not the grass. NO DOGS AT ALL IN THE COURTYARD PLEASE!
